Our Privacy Practices

PrimeWest Insurance Brokerage, Inc. does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We share personal information with insurance carriers and their authorized representatives solely for the purpose of obtaining quotes, evaluating coverage options, and placing insurance coverage you have requested. These disclosures are considered business purposes under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and are not considered a “sale” of personal information.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

What to Expect

Verification

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized requests, we will verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask you to provide information that matches information already maintained in our records.

Response Timeline

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, as required by applicable law. If additional time is needed, we may extend our response period by up to an additional 45 days and will notify you of the reason for the extension.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of written authorization and verification of both your identity and the agent’s authority to act on your behalf.

Global Privacy Control

PrimeWest Insurance Brokerage, Inc. recognizes and honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for California residents, where applicable.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). You will continue to receive the same level of service and pricing regardless of your decision to exercise these rights.
